Welcome
Established
in 1984, Georgian Mists Farm is located just outside
of the beautiful town of Meaford, Ontario. Georgian
Mists Farm is multifaceted including, fullblood
dorper sheep, purebred Simmental and, select sport
horses and ponies. We welcome farm visits by
appointment.
In 2006 we purchased our first dorper ram as a
terminal sire for our commercial hair sheep flock.
In 2008 we welcomed a small group of purebred dorper
ewes, and a ram to start our purebred program.
More recently, on our quest to improve our stock, we
have purchased imported semen from 2 great type 5
Australian sires, "Kaya 07-1209" a Mickey Phillips
embryo and "Kaya 07-1275" a Tein Jordaan embroyo.
In 2011, we
welcomed our foundation black Simmental cattle from
Destiny Simmental. We are looking forward to
our first purebred calf crop in the spring of 2012!

sale occasionally, please visit our available page to see
what is currently available.
We take pride in raising our Dorper sheep, Angus
cattle and Simmental cattle naturally without the
use of hormones. Freezer beef and lamb are
available occasionally; please contact us for more
information about pricing and ordering meat.
